On Procrastination

This is likely one of the most important "tips" I've come to learn about working through the 30DC and Internet Marketing in general. Ready?

Here it is... the primary issue with most people who want to engage in internet marketing (and specifically the 30DC) is what I call the "laziness factor", other people call it "procrastination" but that's just a polite way of saying some people are lazy. Serial "procrastinators" need to stop deluding themselves; they need to stop finding excuses and polite labels (like "procrastinator") and they need to admit that the guilt they are feeling is a direct result of the fact that they are simply LAZY. In less convenient periods (and places) in human history, such people end(ed) up starving. Today, it's a lot easier to "get by" with a minimal effort, but be prepared to admit to yourself that you will thereby likely NOT achieve any of your desires/dreams of success. You will go on, day to day, in a half-assed malaise thinking that you are fooling yourself and others with clever terms like "procrastination". In the end, you will likely become cynical and ornery and wind up abandoning yourself and your dreams, only to flop down onto the couch and reach for the TV remote.

Unless you look the problem square in the face, and admit that LAZINESS is the name of your true impediment, you will never have a chance at rectifying and mending your ways. So, procrastinate all you like, that just makes more opportunities available to people who are not lazy. It's really up to you. But, you need to be honest with yourself. Sometimes, the truth hurts... Have I hurt your feelings?
